What we hold, and what we never see.

The dates you enter

The deadline calculator runs entirely in your browser. The date of dismissal and any ACAS early conciliation dates are never sent to Fairform, never stored, and never emailed. Closing the tab discards them.

There is one exception, and it happens only if you ask for it. If you request a deadline reminder, the deadline and the one-line basis for it are sent to Fairform with your email address. The basis restates the date you entered, so requesting a reminder does send us that date. Nothing is sent unless you fill in the reminder form and submit it.

Deadline reminders

If you ask to be reminded, we store four things: your email address, the calculated deadline, the one-line basis shown with it (which restates the date you entered), and whether you ticked the separate box asking to hear about the full case tool. We store nothing else — no IP address, no browser information, and none of the other dates you may have entered.

We use it to send you a confirmation straight away and reminders 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before the deadline, skipping any that have already passed. Every email carries a one-click link that stops the reminders and deletes the record immediately.

The records are held in a Cloudflare D1 database in Cloudflare's Western Europe region. They are deleted 30 days after the deadline passes, automatically, by a daily job — or immediately if you unsubscribe. We never sell, share or rent them.

The launch-list box is separate consent and is never pre-ticked. Ticking it is the only thing that puts you on that list; leaving it alone has no effect on your reminders. You can withdraw either at any time using the link in any email or by writing to us.

A reminder email is a backup, not a substitute for your own diary. Email can be delayed, filtered or lost. Please record the deadline yourself as well.

Payments

Fairform does not take payments and collects no card details anywhere on this site. An earlier founding offer saved a card through Stripe to be charged at a future launch; that offer was withdrawn on 8 September 2026. The empty records it created were deleted on 8 September 2026; no customer ever held a saved payment method, and Fairform now holds nothing at Stripe at all.

Analytics

We record five anonymous events: that a calculation was started, that one was completed, that the founding offer was seen, that a reminder was requested, and that a card was entered. These events carry no dates, no deadlines, no email addresses, no names, and nothing else you typed. Nothing else is recorded — no page-by-page tracking, no session recording, and no automatic capture of what you click. Analytics are provided by PostHog on European servers. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard server request data such as your IP address in order to serve the page and protect the service. Fonts are served from this domain, not from a third party.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and object to its processing. In practice the only personal data Fairform holds is a reminder record, and only if you asked for one. Email ask@fairform.app and we will action it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
